Derelict as such, but watertight, warm and gracious in her unadorned state. Such a delight to drape her 16ft tall Georgian windows and fill her full of light and people once more. Guests were welcomed by flambeau torches and huge boxwood topiary in urns and entered the hall through opulent red velvet drapes.
Our team took two days to light the high ceilings and walls with fairylit chandeliers, festoon lights and LED uplighters, drape huge windows, doorways and dress candlelit tables for hundreds of guests over three nights.
There is a huge wooden scale model of Florida Manor and we lit up the rooms being used in the model with mini LED flame candles!
